Richardson Timber Products Corporation is a lamination plant that is situated in Papoose in Oregon. This had helped the company in becoming famous in the local region with respect to the lamination industry. It had helped the people in securing the jobs within the local region. The plant was facing serious issues from the viewpoint of Richardson and Bowman and one of the major factors was the condition of safety that was present for the employees. The unsafe environment for the employees has exposed them to the injuries that may happen with them. An example of this was that an employee was fatally injured during the course of work, which led to the quitting of most of the employees for the reason of frustration. This led to the decrease in the factor of motivation for the employees, as most of them were worried about the about the factor of safety that was provided to them. Aim and objective The company previously had a high rate of turnover, which had helped the company in increasing its rate of profit and earning goodwill within the local region. However in the current scenario, it can be seen that the rate of turnover for the company has decreased and got to a low of 50 percent. The rewards for the employees were good previously, which helped the employees in boosting up their morale and motivation. This has been reduced, which has resulted in frustration among the employees. The primary objective would be to start the rewards system again in the organization so that it will help in keeping the employees motivated, which would further help in increasing the level of productivity in the organization. Scope The main challenge of the organization is to enhance the level of communication within the employees so that it can help them in managing the work in an efficient manner. The use of the advance technologies within the organization will help the employees in effectively communicating with each other so that the pressure of work can be distributed in an even manner. Discussion: Increasing the rate of turnover The turnover can be increased within the organization by allowing the employees to focus on their work so that it can help in creating value within the workplace. The use of jokes and humors helps in increasing the level of productivity of the employees, as it helps them in diverting their attention for a moment (Ashmarina Khasaev, 2015). The employees need to make the habit of planning their daily routine in the night so that they can predict the pressure of work for the next day. This will help them in having a better knowledge about the duties that they need to perform on the next day (Yang et al., 2015). The distractions that are present within the organizations need to be avoided by the employees so that it will help them in increasing the productivity of the firm. The serious environment within the work culture will help the employees in getting involved within the work in an efficient manner. The organization needs to focus on the healthy food habits of the employees so that they can remain fit and active in coming to the work place on a regular manner (Aggarwal, Hsu Wu, 2015). The employees have to manage the time in a proper manner so that it can help the employees in planning their work in an effective manner. The breaks that the employees are entitled to; will help them in rejuvenating their energy so that they can prepare their mind in continuing their work again in an effective manner, which will help in increasing the rate of turnover within the organization (Artto Turkulainen, 2016). Rewards for the employees The rewards system that has been abolished by the company needs to be introduced again within the organization so that it can help in providing motivation for the employees. The organization needs to have an effective Human Resources department so that they can help in the process of planning of the rewards and incentives that needs to be given to the employees (Olafsen et al., 2015). The employees will have to be provided with better remuneration methods so that they can be motivated within the work place. The rewards that will be provided to the employees needs to be known to them so that they can categorize their targets and achieve their respectable rewards (Yoon et al., 2015). The consistency of the employees will be maintained within the work place by the employees so that they can achieve the desired targets and try to surpass it. This will help the employees in increasing their level of productivity within the work place (Ganta, 2014). Technological advances The organization needs to introduce lasers and sensors in their system so that the employees can keep a track of the logs that are being cut. The cameras need to be installed so that they can help in checking the accuracy of the employees (Stein, Galliers Markus, 2013). The geometric system of scanning along with color vision technology needs to be adopted by the organization so that it can help in determining the grade and the effective ways of cutting the logs (Chelsey, 2014). The use of the high speed system of sorting the logs will help the company in breaking down its logs, which will help in increasing the productivity of the employees within the organization. The use of the technologies will help in increasing the efficiency of the employees within the organization, as it will help the organization in managing the resources in a proper manner (Hacker, 2017). The use of the automation process will help the organization is ensuring the efficient line of production along with better quality of products, as the scanning process will help in detecting the internal defects, which cannot be seen by the human eye (Colbert, Yee George, 2016). The efficient use of the communication process will help the employees in bringing out their ideas, which can be aligned with the goals and visions of the company. The proper use of the feedback process will help in keeping a constant communication among the senior management and the employees of the company (Ladegaard Jenks, 2015). The use of effective process of communication will help in creating satisfaction of job among the employees, as it will help in encouraging easy methods of correspondence within the levels that are present in the organization. The issues that are present in the work place can be efficiently solved by the senior management with the help of the employees, as their grievances will be taken in to consideration. This will help the employees in working under better conditions, which will further lead to the development of loyalty in the work place (Keyton et al., 2013). The use of better patterns of communication will help in reducing the rate of internal conflicts within the organization, as clear communication methods will help in settling the issues in a mutual manner. This will help the employees in developing their professional and personal growth. The level of productivity will also increase in the workplace, as the goals and vision of the organization will be communicated in a proper manner. The employees will have a better knowledge about the work that they need to carry out within the work place so that they can achieve their target in an efficient manner. The work by the employees will be delivered in a better manner, which will help in increasing the level of output of the employees as well (Cardon Marshall, 2015). The level of communication will help in creating a friendly environment so that it will help in the promotion of better work culture within the organization. The resources that are available within the organization can be used in a better manner if the level of communication within the organization is clear and transparent (Carroll, 2015). Conclusion Therefore, it can be concluded that the organization is facing trouble with the authoritarian style of leadership, which may demotivate the employees and hamper the level of productivity within the organization. The use of efficient levels of practices will help the employees in increasing their level of productivity and help the organization in generating better rate of revenues. The use of the better level of technologies will help in efficient increase in the output of the organization. Recommendations Thus, it can be recommended that the employees need to have a better description of the work within the organization, as most of the departments within the organization are informal in nature. The rewards system that will be available in the organization needs to be effective in manner so that the employees can get motivated within the work place and increase the productivity within the organization. The use of the proper communication methods will help in communicating in between the employees so that the level of transparency can be maintained between them. This will help in the increase of the relationships among the employees in a better manner within the organization. Since the company does not have have any proper methods of gathering and assessing the information within the organization, they need to set up proper practices within the organization, which will help in recording the transactions in an easy manner. The communication pattern needs to be present in between the shifts of the employees so that the new employees who are being hired can have access to the information about the safety practices and the level of production that they need to maintain within the organization. Apart from the word of mouth policy, the company needs to hold meetings on a frequent basis so that the employees can receive all the information that has been taken up by the upper management. The employees then need to provide their valuable feedback, which will help in implementing the process that will change the course of work within the organization. References Aggarwal, V.
